  Well, what can I say? This place is a gem family owned. Happy campers. Great staff. They had events while we were there. I will come to this place at least once a year if not more ,the pool was great. The park is perfect.

  This place was wonderful! The lake is beautiful and big, very enjoyable!
  The only problem I had there was that the communication wasn't thorough from the staff. They gave minimal information when we came in to do stuff like rent boats. … More The staff is mainly children or young teens, so it was difficult for them to keep track of paperwork and purchases. But they were all very kind and working very hard!
  We stayed in the Lodge, it was clean and beautiful and we truly enjoyed our time there. We'll be back next year!
  *Also the manager or owner, not sure who it was but an older woman there in the office tends to give attitude and was rude to several members of my family*

  What a wonderful place! The family that owns and operates it and all the staff are so warm, inviting and fun. They obviously work very hard to create a beautiful, clean, safe and fun environment for their guests. Hickory Hills is family … More and pup friendly so everyone can find something for them while making memories together. There are endless activities for all ages and a beautiful lake. It’s especially peaceful in the mornings. There are also adorable cabins and cottages available if you don’t have a camper. We traveled there from Texas and are already looking forward to our next of many return trips!

  We just stayed at the Lodge at Hickory Hills and LOVED it! It has a spacious and private deck and fire pit that is surrounded by beautiful trees! There were 3 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms that had 2 queen beds in each as well as a large upstairs … More loft area that had 4 more queen beds and tv area perfect for all the kids. It was a good fit for our group of 17. We enjoyed the jacuzzi tub!
  We rented a golf cart and brought our bikes and enjoyed pedaling all around the grounds. It was quiet! We had the pool area, volleyball and pickleball courts mostly to ourselves!
  HIGHLY recommend the ice cream!! It might be the best Ive ever had!!

  We have been coming here at least once a year for the past 3 years. We love it here there is so much do for the kids and the adults enjoy themselves as well. We tent camp and every site we've had has been awesome. They have a pool … More which I love bc I don't care to swim in the lake l, mini golf, waterballoon wars a jumpy pillow! They have fun themed weekends and they have djs and bands and parades depends on the weekend but it is all on their app. This is a great family place to go and every who works there is friendly the owners are friendly and the seasonal stayers are also friendly. We love coming here our whole family goes my brothers and sisters abd their children our friends my mother we usually book 3-4 sites together.

  Hands down, THE BEST place to camp. The new(ish) owners are committed to updating things and making sure there is something for everyone to do and enjoy. The best part is, they leave just enough "rustic" so you get that old school … More feeling, something my husband loves, he has been going to hickory hills since he was a kid. My kids who have and indulge in every new day technology, absolutely love coming here during the summer to swim in the lake, fish, play volleyball, baseball/softball, have campfires and just walk around the campground looking for chipmunks and frogs. My husband and I love to just get to unwind, and not worry our kids will get bored, there is way too much to do! This is why we make multiple trips up here during the summer ❤️ definitely worth every penny!

  When I was very young my family and I would often go to this campground, as a kid I have always loved this place because I was able to make friends, go swimming, go on walks, and play miniature golf. If I remember right, I think there used … More to be a small theatre that would play random popular movies for kids to enjoy. Now going there as an adult, they did take out that small theater, the miniature golf courses need a lot of maintenance its looks completely run down. The mens bathroom is exactly how I remember it when I was little but now I feel it needs some work and needs to be updated for those to feel more comfortable. Overall my favorite thing about this campground currently is that there are a lot of shaded areas to camp and also there are very friendly staff that treats you well and makes deliveries to your camp site if you need anything. Even though this place needs to be updated but I strongly feel that its still the best place I can go to relax and enjoy.

  We stayed two nights in The Lodge during the week before Labor Day weekend. It is a big beautiful house that sleeps 20 I think. Big stone fireplace, 3 br downstairs with 2 queen beds in each and a loft with 6 or 7 queen beds and a bathroom. … More 2 additional bathrooms downstairs, one with a jacuzzi tub. There are new owners there who are very accommodating and are trying to get everything that was neglected back in good shape so we’ll be anxious to check it out next summer. Staff was all very friendly and helpful. The lake was a little too full of green algae for our liking but that’s to be expected at the end of a very hot summer. The campground is more wooded than most in the area so you definitely get that camping experience! Golf carts available, snacks in the camp store along with good ice cream. Wish we could’ve been there for the weekend because it looked like lots of fun things planned!👍

  We stayed over 4th of July for the first time and fell in love with the place! The new owners are doing so much to the property and are so kind. We ended up needing a extra hose and extension cord and they brought us ones to borrow right … More away at no cost. They keep everything very clean and the pool is sparkling. My kids love that the pool is deep on one side (9ft). We had so much fun with the mini golf especially playing in the dark with glow balls and light up holes. Lake obstacle course is so fun, my kids were on it for hours at a time. Lake was great to kayak and fish on. They have other fun activities too. People are super friendly there. We definitely would recommend it!

  There are areas that this campground needs to upgrade like a new playground for kids and some water-electrical tlc at the … More hookups but we just learned that this campground is under NEW ADMINISTRATION/Family owned business. We understand that upgrades and renovations take time and money.
  The store is nice and clean one of my favorite spots, Ice cream and pizzas are the best.
  Pet friendly business which is a MUST for US.
  We met some of the seasonals, they are very nice humble people, all over the place you can feel the good family vibe.
  Big shout out to Joanne the manager she answered my emails super fast and was very kind to find me a rental Golf cart that we really enjoyed.
  BIG thank you to all the staff for everything you guys did for us over the weekend we are looking forward to see you next year.
